POY spinning process

When spinning PES POY filament yarn cora services gmbh is offering a very compact and operator friendly plant configuration. For POY yarn it is not necessary to draw the yarn therefore the take-up section requires only the automatic winders. No godets have to be installed

Our very compact design for PES POY spinning gives the following advantages to the yarn producer: reduced process height yarn tension reduction yarn tension control flexibiltiy combined cristallizer and dryer mounted directly on top of the extruder extruder located on the quench cabinet floor level one main dowtherm boiler and one side boiler for the extruder give optimized heat distribution manifold is integrated in the main dowtherm boiler

flexibility in design

Because of the parallel spinning process the design of the POY or FDY spinning plants gives to the yarn producer a high flexibility. The take-up arrangement for POY and FDY is "exchangeable". The difference of producing FDY yarn is that for the drawing of the yarn godets are required.

As the yarn falls straight down from the interfloor duct to the winder, which is arranged in a parallel way to the yarn path, it is possible either to spin POY or FDY yarn on the same plant configuration. For POY spinning the yarn producer simply switches off the godets and the yarn is led directly by skipping the godets to the winder.

Customers further have the following option: In case customer intends to produce only POY during the first period, investment costs for such a combined spinning line will be lower at the initial stage, because up-grading of the installation with godets for FDY production can easily be realized .
